Awesome school went there..
My experience with Eastern Hancock hasn't been a good one. They didn't follow my learning disabled son's IEP a few years ago. Instead they punished him and/or sent him to the principals office. He was 5 years old. My daughter just graduated Kindergarten. She hurt herself at recess and showed the teacher. The teacher then had someone call Child protection services claimi3nh my daughter was abused. I would never recommend this school to anyone.
My daughter is a Kindergartener at Eastern Hancock Elementary School. She absolutely loves the school, her teachers, and all she is learning. I am very pleased with the academic standard of this school. I am also impressed with the staff and the school as a whole. My daughter has learned so much in the last four months; and her teacher communicates with me very well. The school offers a large variety of activities for the students both inside and outside of the school. In my opinion, Eastern Hancock Elementary is a top notch school. The school is clean, well kept, and the walls are covered in the children's accomplishments/art. One of the other top reasons I choose to send my child to Eastern, and perhaps the most important reason is safety. I believe that my child is safe during school hours. I know that in the event of an emergency or crisis the faculty members have plans already put in place to keep the children safe & out of harm's way. I would definitely recommend the Eastern Hancock school corporation to anyone who is new to the Eastern Hancock district. Also, to anyone outside of the school district that might be looking for a better alternative than where they're sending their children now.
